Black Out

Man Skirt - Borderline Apparel, Shirt - Zara, Clutch - Zara, Sunglasses - Borderline Apparel, Necklace - Accessorize, Sandals - Office

As much as I love to have a bit of colour in my wardrobe, you really can't beat black on black. Black is flattering, slick, and allows you to go mad with layering without ending up looking like a crazy person who decided to wake up and put on half their wardrobe without thinking about it. It's also perfect all year round. The other day I came across another fantastic menswear shop in East London - Borderline Apparel. They have some really edgy, fashion forward pieces for men that are really all about having fun with fashion. And lets face it - having fun is what fashion is for. I decided to buy this amazing man skirt (The label described them as Urban Pants, but seriously - this is a skirt with leggings attached). They are without doubt the comfiest things I have ever worn, and the wrap skirt detailing make them so on trend. As the leggins are attached, half the layering is already done for me, so I decided to keep things simple with a plain black shirt. The longer length of the shirt really compliments the detail of the skirt. To add a bit of shine I accessorized with a silver stud pendant, my studded clutch, and these fantastic mirrored flip-up sunglasses, also from Borderline Apparel. Who said you shouldn't wear black in the Summer?
