Yesterday I went to Graduate Fashion Week to check out this years emerging designers. It's really important to support young fashion talent, and Graduate Fashion Week is a fantastic platform for young designers to showcase their work for industry professionals and prospective employers. It's so much better now that the venue has moved from Earls Court to The Truman Brewery. It's a much grittier space, and surrounded by the best of East London fashion. I visited various stands, including my own universities stand (University of South Wales, formerly University of Wales, Newport), and was absolutely blown away by the standard of the work. It was truly phenomenal. The course has clearly improved so much since I studied there, it made me want to go back to uni and do it all over again! Below are a couple of my personal highlights from the Northbrook College & Wiltshire College Salisbury show, and a couple of the stands.
My look was also captured by Off-The-Street here
There is still a day and a half left - so I urge you to go visit and show your support for the next generation of Fashion Designers!
