Tee - Boohoo, Mac - Studio Collection LDN, Shorts - Rabbithole London, Snapback - Urban Renewal, Sandals - Dr Martens, Socks - American Apparel
I'm sure by now you will have realized that I have a love for all things leather. But it's summer, and generally leather isn't considered a suitable material for a summer wardrobe. Here is my post to prove otherwise. I'm still really loving the whole Sports Luxe look that's massive right now, and leather is a great way to keep the look from looking like you're going to the gym. I put the outfit together using three main summer staples made in leather (or pleather) - Shorts, Sandals and a Snapback. I bought the shorts a few months ago, and they came with leggings. Styling them without the leggings makes them perfect for the summer sun. The sandals are by Dr Martens, and are fantastic. The closed toe makes them perfect for work, and they look really great worn with socks. I have been looking for ages and AGES for a snapback cap that suits my face shape, and doesn't look too 'ghetto'. I finally found this one by Urban Renewal in Urban Outfitters. I have been wearing a lot of black on black recently, so I tried to keep the look a bit lighter with that really bright colour - Grey. Haha. I matched the socks to my oversized tee - both giving an extra nod to the sportswear influence. Finally I threw on this Mac that I have basically been living in recently. Its that piece that my wardrobe had been missing for ages. Perfect for the unpredictable weather we've been experiencing recently, and such an easy piece to wear! Go fourth and wear leather whatever the weather (rhyming unintentional).
