Last Wednesday I went to a really unusual event held in the Truman Brewery. I still don't entirely understand how it was meant to work, but essentially you could buy any of the art in this exhibition by using your influence over social media - rather than spending money. You had to check your social score using the Klout app, then snap a picture of what you wanted and share to the social
network of your choice tagged with ‘#100Aires’ and a hashtag
corresponding to your chosen piece of art. The person with the most re-tweets or likes won the art. Get it? Yeah me neither, but it was fun nonetheless! And they were serving grilled cheese so win win! I decided to dress fairly smart for the event - I didn't really know what to expect from it. Navy is a really nice change from black in the summer, so I went with some navy high waisted trousers and this gorgeous circle shirt I managed to find in the sale in work. It's kinda cropped on my, but works really well with the trousers. I accessorised with all black (of course) - my fringed sandals that haven't really left my feet since I bought them, my black fedora and an oversized clutch which is perfect for carrying my bulky camera and all my other stuff. Check out a few photos from the event below, including the illustration that was done of me by tweeting my photo to a 'Sketch Booth'!
