I know, I know, I'm now two days behind with the updates, so I'll just post them every other day from now on. Day 3 was a bit more chilled than Day 2. I had to go into work first thing to finish merchandising the Joseph stock ready for the buyers, and then it was straight to Somerset House. White leather jackets are massive this season, so when I saw this one in Topman I knew I had to have it! I'm always in full on black so it's a refreshing change to have a white leather to brighten my outfit. Of course I had to wear SOME black, so I went with a monochrome look, which really made the white jacket pop. The asymmetric detail of the top worked really well with my Studio Collection half kilt and I went full on leather with my accessories. My favoruite piece from this look has to be the harness necklace from borderline. It's so intricate and was such a reasonable price! I love it! After a bit of chilling out and socialising around Somerset House, I then went to the Edeline Lee presentation, held in on the River Terrace.
I really loved the idea behind the Edeline Lee presentation. All the models were stood in custom built 'rooms' that refelected the clothes they were wearing. And the clothes were truly beautiful. Gorgeous origami inspired shapes and structure combined with vivid hues. I especially loved the yellow and white sweatshirt with the cut-out detail on the arm - even though it's so bright I would so wear this! The black striped dress was also phenomenal, such an unusual fabric. Later that evening I headed off to the Shopcade Party, wrapping up their London Fashion Week pop-up shop.
Sooooo much fun! Such fantastic music! and so much free alcohol!! I had an awesome time, got to hang out with some of my favourite bloggers and designers and even god a fabulous (although pretty gender-specific) goodie bag. Stay tuned for Day 4!
