So here is the big surprise I hinted at in my last blog post - I have cut my hair! That's right, after a year and a half of growing it into a topknot I decided it was finally time of a change. It took me agessss to decide what hairstyle to have, but eventually I went for the short fringe which is fairly popular at the moment. As much as I loved (and still love, and miss) my topknot, I've seen it on way too many guys - including someone from One Direction, so I knew it was time for a change. Anyway, this blog is about clothes, not hair, but to keep the focus on my hair for this post, I did keep the clothes fairly simple. I have been looking for a leather shirt for absolutely ages. After nearly spending £250 in the sample sale in work for a real leather one (which didn't quite fit me properly), I managed to find this faux leather beauty in H&M for a mere £34.99, and it fits like a dream! It's also a really good quality PU, so it's really not obvious that it's not real leather. This week I have also been lucky enough to receive a massive parcel of clothes courtesy of new menswear retailer OPEN. They have some really awesome pieces, and their basic black skinny jeans are a fantastic staple. I wanted to accessorize with some tough metal detailing, so I wore my metal buckle triple sole creepers from Underground, my Gypsy East septum ring and the metal buckle belt from OPEN was the absolute perfect choice. Check out OPEN here, they have some great fashion forward menswear for really affordable prices! So, do you think I made the right decision cutting off my topknot?
