Highstreet Edit

It's PayyyyDayyyyyy! (Or, at least it was yesterday). I feel like it has been so long since I have been shopping and so now it is at last time for a little Pay Day treat. It's also my birthday at the end of March ;)  So, with this in mind, here are a few of my favourite things on the highstreet right now.

H&M: Long Sweatshirt Cardigan, Coated Jeans, Longline Flannel Shirt, Foil Print Sweat, Biker Bomber, Thin Coat, Suede Biker
H&M is always one of those places where you have to really search, but you can find some amazing fashion forward pieces at very reasonable prices. My favorite piece from this list in the black thin coat. I really love the silhouette, and it would be a great layering piece. It's made from a polyester/viscose mix which makes it really lightweight and drapey, so it can be worn indoors and outdoors - so versatile! I'm also loving the grey suede biker jacket - a beautiful update on a classic. The foil print sweatshirt has a kinda Richard Nicoll vibe that I really like, and would look awesome paired with the longline flannel shirt.

River Island: Hooded Blazer, Rubberized Backpack, Longline Biker Coat, White Smart Chunky Sole Shoes, Grey Zip Blazer, Messenger Bag, Navy Zip Mac
Zips are clearly the big thing at River Island right now and I love it. I wish I had seen the messenger bag before fashion week - it would have been the perfect thing to carry around my camera and bits and pieces. My white Topman boots are all scratched up now, and I think the white chunky sole shoes would be the perfect replacement. The grey blazer also has the greatest silhouette and is fantastically clean.

Topman: Wool Bomber, Tartan Ultra Skinny Trousers, Street Tailor Collarless Blazer, Stripe Hooded Mac, Premium Black Shirt, Grey Cocoon Coat, Oversized Wool Biker
Topman will always be one of my favourite menswear brands on the highstreet. I suppose because I worked there for so long, it's part of my blood now! Topman has a fantastic selection of coats and jackets right now, the Oversized wool biker being one of my absolute favorites. The stripe hooded mac is so not my usual style, but theres something about it I really like. It's kinda J.W.Anderson-esque, and could look really cool with a clean white shirt and smart tailored trousers.

Zara: Diagonal Hem Tee, Seersucker Trousers, Asymmetrical Leather Shoes, Coated Cape, Skirt Trousers, Leather Backpack, Asymmetrical Jacket
Zara are so great for giving you designer inspired pieces. I love the sole on the Asymmetrical leather shoes - kinda reminds me of the Rick Owens trainers. Also, they have a man-skirt! At last a high-street store is selling a skirt for men! Long live the revolution!! I really hope this is a the start of things to come. Also, Navy and Black is my favourite colour combination right now, and the leather backpack ticks all the boxes in terms of colour, shape and fabrication. Love Love Love.
