Highstreet Edit

If shopping were an Olympic sport, I would definitely get the gold. So with that in mind, I have complied, especially for you, a selection of my absolute favorite pieces available on the highstreet right now. I've done the hard work so you don't have to!

H&M: Asymetric Tee, Leather Biker, Lyocell Shirt Jacket, Rip Knee Jean, Longline Flannel Shirt, Suede Biker, Asymetric Tank

I think I'm need of a new biker jacket - my favorite black studded one is unfortunately falling apart now (because I've worn it so much!). Either of the bikers in this list would make a more than adequate replacement, and they are both under £150! And talking about bargains, the flannel shirt is currently 30% off at only £13.99 - so act quickly if you want it.

Topman: Black Cape, Collarless Shirt, Check Skinny Trousers, Lux Duster Jacket, Grey Poncho, Lux Tunic Shirt, Tape Front Sweatshirt
Warning: my new favorite wardrobe item is the cape. Such a versatile thing, I lived in my check one over the winter, and it's a great throw on for the summer when it gets a bit chilly. This black one is a great versatile piece, and the grey poncho is a great update on this shape. Also a new love of mine is the Topman Lux collection - Now in its sixth phase, the Lux capsule collection delivers considered shapes, modern tailoring and signature prints. Somebody buy me that duster jacket!!

Zara: Asymmetric Cardigan, Grey Waistcoat, Rip Knee Jeans, Gingham Shirt, Short Dungarees, Drapey Trench, Asymmetric Tank
That waistcoat. BOOM. All it's missing is those four iconic white stitches on the back (you know the ones I mean). The raw edge armhole gives it such a cool designer feel and it's made from a gorgeously silky suiting fabric. Also in the "so good it could be margiela" category is the Drapey trench coat, with its dropped waist belt and longline silhouette. I know the dungaree trend is a bit done, but I still have a soft spot for them - even if it's just a nostalgia thing. These short black coated dungarees are a great update on the classic fashion faux pas.

River Island: Patchwork Jumper, Duster Coat, Stripe Drop Hem Jumper, Holloway Road Stone Mac, Zip Hooded Blazer, Check Shirt, Asymmetric Jumper
If there is one thing River Island is getting right at the moment - it's knitwear. Patchwork is a huge Autumn/Winter trend, so the first jumper above is a great investment piece for the upcoming season. The other jumpers are great silhouettes realized in beautiful fabrications. Also an absolute winner is the black duster coat - an amazing staple piece that's almost completely sold out in stores (but you can still find it online!)
