Shirt - Reclaimed Vintage, Trousers - Asos, Hat - Topman, Septum Ring - Gypsy East Jewels, Shoes - Topman
A big trend for 2015 (both Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter) is Chambray. The lighterweight cousin of denim, Chambray is a traditional workwear fabric that has been welcomed by the fashion world with loving arms. It's great because it gives the look of denim without the weight, which is great for the summer months, and then for layering in the winter. I spotted this one by Reclaimed Vintage on Asos and knew I had to have it. It reminds me greatly of a shirt that is in the Joseph Autumn/Winter collection. I always love a longline shirt, and the white bib front and grandad collar give it a really cool modern update. Another payday treat from Asos is the wide-leg trousers. As you will know if you have seen a few of my recent posts, wide-leg trousers are another current obsession and massive meanswear trend next season. I think the silhouette of the shirt and trouser combo gives this look a great laidback feel. As this look is quite simple I wanted to add interest with the accessories. You can't go wrong with a good fedora and a good pair of shoes - so my Topman staples made another appearance, and I finished the whole thing off with my Gypsy East septum ring.
