His Name Is Dusty

Sleeveless Coat - Reclaimed Vintage via Asos, Shirt - Rabbithole London, Jumper - c/o Boohoo, Jeans - c/o OPEN, Boots - Dr Martens

I decided to have a bit of a splurge this payday on some payday treats from Asos. One of this things I bought was this amazing sleeveless duster coat by Reclaimed Vintage. I was going to buy it to wear to fashion week a while back, but decided against it at the time. Now that it has gone down in the sale, there was absolutely no way I could resist. I clearly have bit of an obsession with 'swishy' clothes at the moment, and this piece is no exception. It's made from a much lighter-weight fabric than I was expecting, which means I will be able to get a lot of wear out of it over the summer. It's a great throw-on layering piece that can add that extra bit of interest to almost any outfit. For this outfit I decided to make it all about the coat with some simple monochrome layering underneath. I went with the elongated feel of the coat by pairing it with a longline white shirt and black lightweight jumper. My favorite black jeans were an obvious choice, and I accessorized with my Dr Martens leather boots. This is a perfect outfit for the supremely unpredictable weather we're having at the moment, smart enough for work, yet casual enough for a weekend of mooching around galleries (which is exactly what I did last Sunday - wearing this to see the Charles Rennie Mackintosh exhibition). The coat is still available on Asos, but act fast if you want it, because stock is low!
