His Name Is Fab

At last I can share the amazing photos from my latest collaboration with you! I have been lucky enough to collaborate with Shoot Me Fab, and the very talented photographer S├ębastien Marchand. Shoot Me Fab is a series of photography projects set as competitions and events designed to help brands, businesses and creatives connect with their audience. Through their events, influencers and fans team up to compete or collaborate in celebration of brands they love. Shoot Me Fab events are a creative fusion of live events, online marketing and strong partnerships with an aim to build a unique platform of collaboration, recognition and compensation for emerging fashion talents who don't always have to budget and knowledge to market themselves effectively. I'm so honoured to have been approached by Manuely and S├ębastien to collaborate as this is a great opportunity to bring you guys more of the blog content you love. You can see more photos, and my interview, on the Shoot Me Fab website here.

Outfit 1

Jacket - En Noir x Gap, T-Shirt - TTYA, Shorts  - Topshop, Backpack - Rokit Vintage, Sandals - Dr Martens

I was asked to bring two outfits along for the shoot. I decided to do a 'ways to wear' post by styling one pair of shorts two different ways. I found these amazing sequin shorts for a bargain £10 in the Topshop sale - There were loads left so get your ass to Oxford Circus Topshop if you want a pair for yourself! My first look is a casual take on the sequin shorts. I paired the shorts with a longline Tee to give them bit of a sports luxe feel. Over this I wore my hooded denim jacket which kept the look casual. The weather is finally hot enough that I can get my Dr Martens sandals back out! I wore these with socks and finished off the look with my leather backpack.

Outfit 2

Jacket - Zara, Top - H&M, Shorts - Topshop, Fedora - Topman, Shoes - Topman

My second outfit is a smarter look. This time I teamed the shorts with a plain black roll neck and smart black blazer. I really love the high neck paired with the shortness of the shorts - the contrast gives the look that Juun J kinda vibe. Because no outfit is complete without my fedora these days (no seriously, I live in this thing) I of course wore my trusty Topman fedora, and my smart cut-out shoes. By far two of the best investments I have ever made. By no means an every day piece, I'm sure these shorts will come in handy for whenever I want to wear something a bit more special and eye-catching, and for a bargain price of £10, they have already more than justified their cost.

Shoot Me Fab will be running a networking event on June 24th to introduce themselves and start casting participants for future events, and their flagship competitions will start running from July this year. They are also available for private photography and videography bookings. More information is available on their website here.
