A couple of weeks ago I posted my latest highstreet edit which contained this fantastic longline shirt from H&M. I knew I liked it when I saw it online, but when I saw it in-store I knew I had to have it. I think that's why bricks-and-mortar stores will never be replaced entirely by online shopping, you just can't beat the rush of falling in love with something when you encounter it in real life. The fabric of this shirt is so super soft, and you can't tell online just how long the shirt actually is - and we all know I like my longline LONG. This shirt reminds me of a 3.1 Phillip Lim one I have been obsessing over in work (which, of course, I can't afford), the only differences being that the Phillip Lim one has a build in d-ring belt and is more of a khaki colour. I actually prefer the grey of the H&M one because it's much more wearable, my aversion to colour returns once again haha. The shirt is such a statement piece, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit simple with small interesting details. My plain black skinny jeans never fail me, and are always a great basis for any outfit. I accessorized with some silver embellishment, pairing my buckled triple sole creepers with my Rokit Recycled backpack - which features beautiful silver tassles. I wanted to wear my septum ring, but I have once again lost it.... so I wore my chunky crystal necklace to give another element of silver. My grey Boohoo fedora was the perfect piece to finish the look. Online shopping is great, but every now and again it's so much more fulfilling to hit the highstreet and stumble on that one thing you feel like you can't live without.
