After going to the House of Fraser Press Day last season I was hoping that a collaboration would be on the horizon, and last week my wish came true. House of Fraser has so many amazing brands that it was hard to choose just one piece from the list given to me to blog about. In the end I chose the Merston Geo Print shirt by Criminal. Established in Bournemouth on the South Coast of England, Criminal is a lifestyle brand that has grown in stature and following since its birth in 1999. Its strong graphic influence and attention to detail result in high quality garments that take an upbeat view of life and challenge the norm. The shirt itself is made from a super soft grey marl cotton and has an all-over geometric print. It's the little details on this short that make it feel so much more expensive than it's £45 price tag (In fact, it's now £31.50 in the sale!). The shirt has a smart/casual vibe, so that what I decided to channel in my look. I teamed the shirt with some vintage matching grey high waisted trousers, and threw on my new Joseph blazer over the top. It's been a while since I wore my cut-out shoes, as the weather has taken a major turn for the worse, so I took inspiration from my last outfit post and wore them with socks. Also, apologies for my beardy-less-ness - I shaved off my beard for my Halloween costume and it's yet to grow back. Don't worry - it won't be long and my facial hair will be back on form!
