His Name Is Samurai

Sunglasses - Jeepers Peepers
Shirt - Ada + Nik
Trousers - c/o Rokit Vintage
Clutch - Joseph
Boots - Dr Martens

We all know I love a bit of black on black. When I saw this shirt at the Lewis & Leigh PR sample sale last week I knew I had to have it. It's by one of my all time favorite brands Ada + Nik, and features a mandarin collar and a layer that crosses over the front and fastens with two hooks and eyes at the shoulder, and is made from the softest peach-skinned fabric. I even had the privilege to meet one half of the phenomenal design duo himself, Nik Thakkar, who told me he liked my blog (eek - fanboy moment!!). The shirt is part of the Autumn/Winter collection and is currently retailing on Farfetch for £573.32 (not that I paid that much for it you understand). Inspired by the mandarin collar, I went for a whole oriental influence, pairing the shirt with a vintage kimono and wide legged cropped trousers, both kindly given to me by Rokit Vintage. Although it's maybe not quite the right weather for sunglasses, I felt these really worked well for the look, and I finished the whole thing off with leather accessories in the form of my Dr Martens boots and my new Joseph clutch bag, which I was lucky enough to get with the last of my uniform allowance. Make sure you check out more of Ada + Nik's collections on their website here.

  1. Awesome post, and the shirt looks great on you! Love the way you styled it!

  2. This look is a perfection! You have the best men's style in my opinion. I'm a sucker for black in million versions.
